R-65-08 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2008 AND ENDING <br />JUNE 30, 2009. <br />SECTION 1. The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2008 <br />and ending June 30, 2009 is hereby approved and adopted and incorporated herein. <br />SECTION 2. At the end of fiscal year 2007-08, certain purchase orders exist as Outstanding <br />Encumbrances representing contractual obligations of previously budgeted funds. Additionally, <br />budgeted funds for certain items or projects in various stages of acquisition or development has <br />previously been approved by the City Council to be carried forward to fiscal years 2008-09 as <br />Continuing Appropriations. The Outstanding Encumbrances and Continuing Appropriations are <br />deemed to be rebudgeted as an addition to the budget amounts previously set forth in this section. <br />SECTION 3. The Approved Budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State. <br />SECTION 4. The Finance Director may make the reallocation of appropriations within <br />departments. Amendments (Increases/Decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of <br />the City Council. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify the adopting of the Budget and shall cause to be <br />filed with the County Auditor within 60 days of the adoption, a certified copy of the Budget and <br />Resolution. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17`h day of June, 2008 <br />ATTEST: I ' <br />u6w ' <br />CAROLINA R.
