1 <br />RESOLUTION NO R-84-08 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON SETTING PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING <br />4 PROPOSED UPDATE TO FEE SCHEDULE FOR <br />PROGRAMS & SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE <br />5 COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, under the police power granted by Article XI, Section 7 of the <br />7 California Constitution, cities may impose fees, charges and rates for certain municipal <br />8 services, and; <br />9 WHEREAS, the City of Colton does currently charge fees for certain programs <br />and services offered by the Community Services Department, and; <br />10 WHEREAS, these fees must be analyzed and adjusted periodically to ensure <br />11 that they are reasonable, justified, and provide for adequate cost recovery by the city, <br />12 and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to consider updates to <br />13 these current fees for programs & services offered by the Community Services <br />14 Department. <br />15 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />16 <br />17 1. The City Council does hereby intend to consider updates to fees for <br />18 programs & services offered by the Community Services Department <br />19 2.
