R -35A-09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEPT A <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,353.00 FROM THE BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, <br />FOR THE 09 BRYNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) AND AMEND THE <br />2009/2010 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2009, and <br />ending June 30, 2010, was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City of <br />Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, The reallocations of appropriations between departmental activities may be made by <br />the City Manager, Amendments (increases or decreases) to the budget shall be by the approval and <br />Resolution of the City Council; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: It is necessary to approve and accept this Bureau of Justice Assistance Bryne <br />Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $31,353.00 plus interest. <br />SECTION 2: It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2009/2010 Fiscal Year Budget, <br />appropriating funds to account number 100-6070-6084-4930-0000-000 for $31,353.00 <br />SECTION 3: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 16' day of June 2009. <br />/ <br />KELLYf CMASTAIN, Mayor <br />ATTEST: /� I <br />EILEEN C.
