R-40-09 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL <br />YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2009 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2010. <br />SECTION 1. The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2009 and ending June 30, 2010 is hereby approved and adopted and incorporated herein. <br />SECTION 2. At the end of fiscal year 2008-09, certain purchase orders exist as <br />Outstanding Encumbrances representing contractual obligations of previously budgeted funds. <br />Additionally, budgeted funds for certain items or projects in various stages of acquisition or <br />development has previously been approved by the City Council to be carried forward to fiscal years <br />2008-09 as Continuing Appropriations. The Outstanding Encumbrances and Continuing <br />Appropriations are deemed to be rebudgeted as an addition to the budget amounts previously set <br />forth in this section. <br />SECTION 3. The Approved Budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State. <br />SECTION 4. Under the direction of the City Manager the Finance Director may make the <br />reallocation of appropriations within departments. Amendments (Increases/Decreases) to the Budget <br />shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify the adopting of the Budget and shall cause to be <br />filed with the County Auditor within 60 days of the adoption, a certified copy of the Budget and <br />Resolution. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 2009 l <br />KELLY J.
