R-07-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,240.00 FROM THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND AMEND THE 2009/2010 <br />FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved funding for the Instructional <br />Materials Grant in the amount of $1,240.00 for the Colton Early Childhood Education <br />Program, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2009 and ending June 30, 2010 was approved and adopted on June 1, 2009, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1: The City accepts the Instructional Materials Grant, from the State of California <br />Department of Education, in the amount of $1,240, thus entering into local agreement number <br />CIM -9484. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf <br />of the City to execute this agreement. <br />Section 2: The approved budget for fiscal year 2009-10 budget is amended as follows. The <br />allocations in Expenditure Account 206-7200-7202-2304 and in Revenue Account 206-5889 <br />shall both be increased by the grant amount of $1,240. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />C�(6-tW Q%T--- <br />EILEEN C.
