R-67-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />INCREASING BUDGET REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ALLOCATIONS IN THE <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH A BUDGET FOR THE <br />USDA FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Services Department has become a sponsor for <br />the USDA Food Service Program, per City Council approval on May 4, 2010, and; <br />WHEREAS, the USDA Food Services Program is a federal program overseen by <br />USDA and administered in California by the California Department of Education (CDE) <br />Nutrition Services Division, and; <br />WHEREAS, this program has become successful in serving nutritious meals to low- <br />income children ages 2 — 18, when school is not in session in City programs and facilities, and <br />the annual estimated reimbursement is $15,000, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2010 and ending June 30, 2011 has been approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby authorizes an adjustment <br />to the fiscal year 2010-2011 budget. Allocations shall be adjusted as follows: <br />Revenue Account 100-6757 shall be increased by $15,000 <br />Expenditure Account 100-6200-6202-1040 shall be increased by $5,000 <br />Expenditure Account 100-6200-6215-2301 shall be increased by $10,000 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5' day of October, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
