R-68-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEP <br />A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,311, FROM THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR <br />OFFICE OF THE HOMELAND SECURITY, AND AMEND THE 2010/2011 FISCA <br />BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2010 <br />and ending June 30, 2011 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On August 17, 2010, the California Governor's Office of Homeland Securi <br />awarded a grant in the amount of $16,311, to the City of Colton Police Department for tl <br />purchase of Night Vision Optics; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this California Governor's Office of Hon <br />Security grant in the amount of $16,311, to the Revenue Account 225-5890-005 <br />Section 2 It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2010/2011 Fiscal Year Budg <br />appropriating funds to account number 225-6070-7003-1180-0000-000 for $16,311. <br />Section 3 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
