R-69-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEPT <br />A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,000, FROM THE OFFICE OF JUSTICI <br />PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, AND AMEND THE 2010/201 <br />FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2010 <br />and ending June 30, 2011 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On September 2, 2010, the Office of Justice Program of the Department <br />Justice awarded a grant in the amount of $200,000, to the City of Colton Police Department <br />the purchase of a new Diesel Generator; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this Office of Justice of the Department <br />Justice grant in the amount of $200,000, to the Revenue Account 225-5890-001 <br />Section 2 It is necessary to make an amendment to the 20010/2011 Fiscal Year Budget, <br />appropriating funds to account number 225-6070-7002-4930-0000-000 for $200,000. <br />Section 3 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
