1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-78-10 <br />2 <br />3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS <br />4 ANALYSIS. <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />6 pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />7 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in <br />8 November 2004 authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San <br />9 Bernardino County Transportation Authority, to impose a one-half of one percent retail <br />to transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the <br />County of San Bernardino, and <br />11 <br />WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement <br />12 and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance <br />13 No. 04-1 of the Authority, and <br />14 WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue <br />15 from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update <br />16 a Five-Year Capital Project Needs Analysis, <br />17 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the <br />18 street infrastructure <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />19 Colton, State of California, herby adopts the Measure I Five Year Capital Project Needs <br />20 Analysis, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A. <br />21 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21s' DAY OF DECEMBER 2010. <br />22 (� <br />23 <br />A O <br />24 Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 EILEEN C.
