R-27-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,703 FROM THE CALIFORNIA <br />OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES, HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT <br />PROGRAM AWARD AND AMEND THE 2017/2018 FISCAL BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2017 and ending June 30, 2018 was approved and adopted on July 15, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 20, 2017, The California Governor's Office of Emergency <br />Services, Homeland Security Grant was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the <br />amount of $19,703; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services Homeland <br />Security Grant was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $19,703. <br />Increase Expenditure Account 225-6070-7017-1180 by $19,703 and increase Revenue <br />Account 225-5890-005 by $ 19,703. <br />Section 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 171h day of April, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
