I RESOLUTION NO. R-13-18 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />PRIORITIZING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />3 GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019 <br />4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a <br />5 Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community <br />Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds; and <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, as a "Cooperating City," the City of Colton anticipates receiving <br />7 $415,515 in CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2018-2019; and <br />8 WHEREAS, the City Council, as the governing body of the City of Colton, is <br />9 required by statute to take a formal action approving a prioritized list of projects to be <br />recommended to the County for funding with CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 as part <br />10 of their Urban County Consolidated Plan to comply with CDBG program regulations and <br />11 subject to available funding; and <br />12 WHEREAS, the City Council seated a committee, known as the CDBG Ad Hoc <br />Committee, comprised of three (3) City Council members and three (3) Planning <br />13 Commissioners, to review the eligible projects and make funding recommendations to the <br />14 Council; and <br />15 WHEREAS, the CDBG Ag Hoc Committee met on January 10, 2018 and determined <br />their recommendations for prioritization of the available CDBG allocation; and, <br />16 <br />17 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is required to inform the County of San Bernardino <br />regarding the priority of eligible projects to be funded with CDBG funds for Fiscal Year <br />18 2017-2018. <br />19 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND FIND AS FOLLOWS: <br />21 SECTION 1. The recitals preceding this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by this reference. <br />22 <br />23 SECTION 2.
