R-42-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE INCREASE OF THE FY 2017/2018 BUDGET VIA <br />THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE FEDERAL ASSET SEIZURE <br />BANK ACCOUNT TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FEDERAL <br />EXPENDITURE ACCOUNT. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 15, 2018 the Colton Police Department requests the transfer of <br />$4,035.17 from the City of Colton Federal Asset Seizure Account to the Colton Police <br />Department Federal Asset Seizure Expenditure Account. <br />These funds are to be used by the police department to purchase a replacement patrol <br />vehicle that was lost in a traffic collision and no longer in service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. Increase Federal Asset Seizure expenditure account #261-6070- <br />6083-4910 in the amount of $4,035.17. <br />Section 2.
