R-44-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ACCEPTING A DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $998.00 FROM THE <br />SCHMITZ FAMILY AND AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018 <br />BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, March 21, 2018 the Schmitz Family donated two K-9 ballistic vests to <br />the Colton Police Department in the amount of $998.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. It is necessary to approve and accept this donation in the amount of <br />$998.00 and to increase General Fund Miscellaneous Revenue Account Number <br />100-7830-000 in the amount of $998.00 to reflect donation of two ballistic K-9 <br />vests. <br />The offsetting increase in appropriations is required in the General Fund Police <br />Administrative Safety Equipment Expenditure Account Number 100-6070-6071- <br />1180-000. <br />Section 2.
