R-68-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE 2017-18 FISCAL YEAR <br />BUDGET WITHIN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton entered into Contract CSPP-7421 with the California <br />Department of Education on June 20, 2017, for the provision of preschool services by the Early <br />Childhood Education Division of the Community Services Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton approved Contract Amendment 01 on November 21, <br />2017, increasing the contract allocation of funds to $558,592; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton amended the budget through the Mid -Year process by <br />reducing expenditures by $11,646 causing an imbalance of revenue and expenditures, as well as <br />a total budget less than the contracted amount of $558,592. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted <br />as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: Authorizes amendment to the FY 2017-2018 Budget to increase <br />Expenditure Acct #:206-7200-7203-1040 Salaries — Part Time by $11,646. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19TH DAY OF JUNE 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />PIZ <br />CAROLINA R.
