R-99-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,666 FROM THE 2018 EDWARD <br />BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) AND AMEND <br />THE 2018/2019 FISCAL BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2018 and ending June 30, 2019 was approved and adopted on June 5, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 21, 2018 the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice grant will be <br />awarded to and disbursed by the County within sixty (60) days upon receipt of funds to the <br />Colton Police Department in the amount of $12,666. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. Accept the 2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) <br />awarded to the Colton Police Department in a sub award agreement of $12,666. <br />Section 2. Increase Expenditure Account 225-6070-7004-4930-0000-018 by $12,666 <br />and increase Revenue Account 225-5891-018 by $ 12,666. <br />Section 3. Enter into and accept the Interlocal agreement with the County of San <br />Bernardino concerning the distribution of the 2018 Edward Byme Memorial Justice Grant <br />Award. <br />Section 4. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21" day of August, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
