Woods <br />City Council Member, District 5 <br />City of Colton California 92324 <br />(909) 370-5056 <br />jwoods@coltonca.gov <br />CHANGES TO APPLICATION LANGUAGE ASSIGNED TO THE APPLICATION FOR <br />APPOINTMENT TO CITY COMMISSIONS/BOARDS/COMMITTEES. <br />The following language and updates are recommended for inclusion into the application from in the <br />initial phase for residents seeking appointment to a city Commission, Board or Committee. <br />The following language shall be adopted and assigned to the application document. The <br />following language indicating that the applicant is subject to having his/her finger prints <br />scanned through the process known as “LIVE SCAN”. This process is provided by the Colton <br />City Police Dept. The request for the Live Scan is initiated through the Colton City Clerk’s <br />Office. <br />The applicant seeking appointment may be required to provide proof of citizenship when <br />applying for any of the above described posts or positions. The application procedures will <br />need to establish his/her residence through the Colton City Clerk’s Office. <br />Mayor and Council Discussion Item
