3 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT Limit 5 Minutes <br /> <br />This is the portion of the meeting specifically set aside to invite your comments regarding Consent Calendar items and <br />any matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council; however, any matter that requires action will be referred to staff <br />for investigation and report at a subsequent Council meeting. The Council is prohibited by law from discussing or taking <br />immediate action on items during this public comment period. <br />Persons desiring to submit paperwork to the City Council Members shall provide copy of any paperwork to the City <br />Clerk for the Official Record. <br /> <br />Speakers will be limited to 5 minutes; provided, however, that the presiding officer shall have certain discretion to <br />extend or limit time as provided for in the City Council Manual of Procedure. <br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered by the City Council to be routine and will all be enacted by <br />one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time the City Council votes on the motion, <br />unless councilmembers, staff or the public request that specific items be discussed and/or removed for separate <br />discussions or action. <br /> <br />(1) Minutes – Approval of Minutes for the City Council Regular Meeting Held October 4, 2016 on File <br />in the Office of the City Clerk. [City Clerk Padilla] <br /> <br />(2) Warrants – Approval of Payable Warrants #158564 to 158717 dated 09/29/2016 and totaling <br />$4,224,643.49; voucher numbers 158718 to 158855 dated 10/06/2016 and totaling <br />$1,950,373.98. [Staff Person: S. Dabbs] <br /> <br />(3) Second Reading of Ordinance No. O-18-16 - Waive Full Reading and Pass Second Reading of an <br />Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Colton amending Chapter 12.32.020 (1) of the Colton <br />Municipal Code and adding Chapter 10.50, Traffic Safety Committee, ORDINANCE NO. O-18-16. <br />[Staff Person: D. Kolk] <br /> <br />(4) Purchase of Two New Marked Police Vehicles – (1) Approve the piggyback award and purchase of <br />two new Chevy Tahoe’s through Winner Chevrolet (8575 Laguna Grove Drive, Elk Grove CA) in the <br />amount of $79,317.50; (2) Approve the purchase and installation costs of the related emergency <br />vehicle equipment to West Coast Lights & Siren, Inc. in the amount of $35,256.50 for both <br />vehicles; (3) Approve the purchase of police graphics through Grafix Systems (formerly known as <br />Cop Car Graphics), an existing vendor, in the amount of $985.08 for both vehicles .
