R-116-16 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2016-17 TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS <br />FOR THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR TO THE MAYOR AND <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2016-17 has been approved by City Council, and <br />must now be amended to increase General Fund appropriations in the City Council Office by <br />$9,771.42 for execution of the Employment Agreement between the City of Colton and the <br />Executive Administrator to the Mayor and Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, the adopted fiscal year 2016-17 General Fund budget was balanced and <br />met the ten percent (10%) reserve requirement; and, <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the General Fund unappropriated reserves <br />to accommodate this request but the action would require City Council to appropriate funds in <br />excess of the General Fund reserve requirement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve the <br />following: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves General Fund appropriations with the use <br />of General Fund reserves in excess of the General Fund reserve requirement by amending the <br />fiscal year 2016-17 budget to appropriate $9,771.42 in account number 100-6000-6000-1101, <br />Non-PERSable Benefits. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of November 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> RICHARD A.
