I RESOLUTION NO. R-04-17 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO RENAME FIRE STATION 214 IN HONOR OF LATE FIRE CAPTAIN <br />3 DAVID LODARSKI <br />4 WHEREAS, City Council Resolution R-60-10 sets forth policy for the application <br />5 process to attach a name to City parks, park features, and community facilities, and the <br />6 processing of such applications, and; <br />7 WHEREAS, the City has received such an application, which has been process in <br />g accordance with Resolution R-60-10, and; <br />9 WHEREAS, this application calls for the renaming of Fire Station 214, in honor of <br />10 the late Fire Captain David Lodarski, and; <br />11 WHEREAS, the Colton Recreation & Parks Commission, in consideration of this <br />application at their meeting of January 18, 2017, voted 7-0 in favor of the recommendation as <br />12 <br />called -for in this application, and; <br />13 WHEREAS, the City Council has received this application, as well as the supporting <br />14 recommendation from the Recreation & Parks Commission. <br />15 <br />16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />17 <br />18 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby declares that the Fire <br />Station 214, located at 1151 Meadow Lane, shall be named "Captain David Lodarski Memorial <br />19 Station". <br />20 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2017. <br />21 <br />22 - <br />Davi J.
