R-87-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO AMEND <br />THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018 CAPITAL OUTLAY AUTOMOBILE <br />ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A VACTOR 2110 PLUS JET RODDER VEHICLE. <br />WHEREAS the Public Works Department desires to purchase one Vactor 2115 Plus Jet <br />Rodder for the City's Collection System Division; and Project. (Project); and <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to improve the productivity and efficiently of the staff on <br />providing collection system cleaning and maintenance of the City's wastewater infrastructure as <br />well as the City of Grand Terrace and new developments; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved Capital Outlay, not listed in the <br />2017/2018 Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved activities, not listed in 2017-2018 <br />Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recital preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes and appropriation of $390,454.24. An adjustment <br />to the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 budget as follows: <br />Increase Capital Outlay Automobile Expenditure Account 522-8200-8200-4910 in the <br />amount of $390,454.24. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 17"' DAY OF OCTOBER, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina R.
