1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-88-17 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />4 AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018 BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $20,000 <br />FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES RELATED TO NECESSARY <br />5 CONCESSIONS FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS. <br />6 <br />7 WHEREAS, the City of Colton owns and/or oversees five concessions facilities within city <br />parks, used exclusively by youth sport groups through the Ballfield Allocation Process, which <br />8 require improvements based on inspection by the San Bernardino County Department of <br />Environmental Health Services (DEHS); and <br />9 <br />10 WHEREAS, this funding will be utilized to contract with an architectural firm to prepare <br />working drawings for all five sites and create a plan -of -action to bring the facilities into basic <br />11 health & safety standards, including assessing total cost of improvements required. <br />12 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />13 <br />14 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as findings, <br />and incorporated into this resolution. <br />15 <br />16 Section 2: The City Council authorizes an appropriation of $20,000 to Professional Services <br />account number 100-6200-6200-2350 from the Sports Park Reserve (100-2540-002) for <br />17 $10,000 and from the General Fund Unassigned Reserves for $10,000 as an adjustment to the <br />Fiscal Year 2017/2018 budget as follows: <br />18 <br />19 <br />• Increase expense account 100-6200-6200-2350 in the amount of $20,000. <br />20 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7w day of November, 2017. <br />21 <br />22 <br />e <br />23 Richard A.
