R-99-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR A 2017/2018 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's <br />traffic safety and infrastructure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) funding through the County of San Bernardino — Department of Community <br />Development and Housing (CDH) ; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received approval to increase funding for the <br />CDBG Colt -16-1-03L-7528 Ohio North Colton Sidewalk Improvement Project and the <br />CDBG Colt -16-1-03K-7530 6th Street Paving Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year <br />budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />budget: <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendments for the FY 17-18 <br />• Increase revenues by $95,081.70 in account number 215-5752-000; and, <br />• Appropriate $83,915 in account number 215-1703-6920-3890 -0000 for <br />the CDBG Colt -16-1-03L-7528 Ohio North Colton Sidewalk <br />Improvement Project; and, <br />
