R-27-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2016/2017 BUDGET AND ACCEPT <br />THE 2016 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM AWARD <br />(HSGP) WITH ITS ACCOMPANYING MOU. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br />July 1, 2016 and ending June 30, 2017 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, March 17, 2017 the Homeland Security Grant Program Award was <br />awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $22,343. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND <br />ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as follows: <br />Section 1. Accept the Homeland Security Grant Program Award and its <br />accompanying MOU in the amount of $22,343. <br />Section 2. Amend the FY 16/17 budget to increase Revenue Account 225-5891-016 <br />and Expenditure Account 225-6070-7003-1180-016 in the amount of $22,343. <br />Section 3.
