RESOLUTION NO. R-33-17 I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR 2 THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE 3 DISTRICT NO. 1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018. 4 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and 5 existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California, and; 6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California has, by previous 7 8 Resolutions, ordered the preparation of the Fiscal Year 2017/2018: Engineer's Annual Levy 9 Report ("Engineer's Report") for the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 10 ("District") pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, Part 2 of 11 Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, beginning with Section 22500 12 ("Act"), and; 13 14 WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this City Council the Engineer's Report 15 as required by Chapter 1, Article 4, Section 22566 of said Act, and; 16 WHEREAS, this City Council has examined and reviewed the Engineer's Report as 17 presented, and is preliminarily satisfied with the District, each and all of the budget items and 18 19 documents as set forth therein, and is satisfied that the assessments, have been spread in 20 accordance with the special benefits received from the improvements, operation, maintenance 21 and services to be performed within each Benefit Zone of the District, as set forth in said 22 Engineer's Report. 23 24 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: 25 26 1.
