RESOLUTION NO. R-36-17 <br />1 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON, <br />2 CALIFORNIA FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE <br />3 ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND <br />LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 FOR <br />4 FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018. <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />6 <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California, and; <br />7 <br />8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California has, by previous <br />9 Resolutions, ordered the preparation of the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Engineer's Annual Levy <br />10 Report ("Engineer's Report") for the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment <br />11 District No. 2 ("District") pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of <br />12 <br />1972, Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, beginning with <br />13 <br />14 Section 22500 ("Act"), and; <br />15 WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this City Council the Engineer's Report <br />16 as required by Chapter 1, Article 4, Section 22566 of said Act, and; <br />17 WHEREAS, this City Council has examined and reviewed the Engineer's Report as <br />18 <br />presented, and is preliminarily satisfied with the District, each and all of the budget items and <br />19 <br />20 documents as set forth therein, and is satisfied that the assessments, have been spread in <br />21 accordance with the special benefits received from the improvements, operation, maintenance <br />22 and services to be performed within each Benefit Zone of the District, as set forth in said <br />23 Engineer's Report. <br />24 <br />25 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY <br />26 THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: <br />27 1. The above recitals are true and correct. <br />28 2. That the Engineer's Report as presented, consists of the following: <br />
