3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, CED EE programs demonstrated positive energy savings in FY 2017. <br />For FY2018 the Energy Efficiency Division would like to renew the SCPPA agreement <br />with the following companies; and <br />WHEREAS, Synergy Companies currently administers energy savings programs <br />for hospitality, small business audits with direct installations, residential audits with direct <br />installation and municipal department EE updates, hospitality services, small business <br />direct installation with audits, residential audits and direct installation and municipal <br />department EE updates; and <br />WHEREAS, ARCA Recycling Inc. is a program that delivers energy star <br />refrigerators to qualified customers with inefficient refrigerators over 15 years old. This is <br />a cost share program with the utility. The customer will be billed $20 a month for twelve <br />consecutive months totaling $240. ARCA removes the inefficient refrigerators from the <br />homes for recycling; and <br />WHEREAS, EFI develops software services for an online customer EE catalog. <br />EFI developed a customized online web browser -based storefront that allows qualified <br />customers to order energy efficiency products directly from the CED website. The online <br />catalog provides LED light bulbs, smart thermostats and energy saving power strips at half <br />the cost for residential CED customers; and <br />WHEREAS, Resource Action Programs LLC provides an energy saving tool kit <br />and student curriculum through the Living Wise Program. City of Colton 61h grade students <br />can participate at no cost to the school district in energy efficiency and water conservation <br />program kits. Currently four schools participate in the program with 686 students <br />completing the course work. The schools participating are Woodrow Wilson, William <br />McKinley, William G. Jehue, and Ulysses Grant Elementary Schools; and <br />WHEREAS, Energy Services Group (ESG) delivers EE through the Keep Your <br />Cool program. This program is designed to assist commercial customers with refrigeration <br />EE upgrades as a direct installation program. Keep Your Cool identifies EE measures <br />specific to electric use driven by refrigeration and lighting equipment. They also provide <br />an audit of the business for the purpose of tracking future EE measures to address; and <br />
