Exhibit B
City of Colton
MEASURE "I" EXPENDITURE STATEGY
PLAN
The City of Colton allocates approximately seventy-five percent of annual
Measure I revenue for system improvements to streets infrastructure.
Delivery of these improvements is focused on streets requiring rehabilitation
or capacity enhancement improvements. Measure I funds are also being
used to provide local match for federal and state grant funded projects;
these projects are focused on improving Colton's infrastructure and/or
transportation system for pedestrian/bicycle/vehicular traffic.
The remaining twenty-five percent of the City's annual Measure I revenue are
allocated to traffic safety such as traffic sign installation/replacement,
striping and traffic signal upgrade. All identified improvements are
consistent with the goals of the city's General Plan Circulation Element.
