I RESOLUTION NO. R-84-16 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />3 CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE MEASURE I FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT <br />NEEDS ANALYSIS <br />4 <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />6 pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br />7 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in November <br />8 2004, authorizing the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority to impose a one-half of <br />9 <br />one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated <br />10 <br />11 territory of the County of San Bernardino; and <br />12 WHEREAS revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and <br />13 traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 04- <br />14 1 of the Authority; and <br />15 <br />WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from <br />16 <br />17 the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five - <br />18 Year Capital Project Needs Analysis. <br />19 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />20 STATE OF CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY resolve, reaffirm and adopt the Measure I Five - <br />Year Capital Project Needs Analysis, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A. <br />21 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2016. <br />22 <br />23 � r� <br />24 Richard A.
