R-90-16 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR A 2016/2017 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />funding through the County of San Bernardino — Department of Community Development and <br />Housing (CDH) ; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received funding approval in the amount of $100,000 <br />from the County CDH for the CDBG Project No. Colt -15-3-03k-7519 - 3rd Street Alley Paving <br />Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year budget is <br />required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the amendment of the FY16-17 budget to increase <br />revenues by $100,000 in account number 215-5752-000 and appropriate $100,000 in account <br />number 215-1713-6920-3890-0000 for the CDBG Project No. Colt -15-3-03k-7519 - 3rd Street <br />Alley Paving Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October, 2016. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
