R-116-16 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2016-17 TO APPROPRIATE <br />ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE EXECUTIVE <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2016-17 has been approved by City Council, <br />and must now be amended to increase General Fund appropriations in the City Council Office <br />by $9,771.42 for execution of the Employment Agreement between the City of Colton and the <br />Executive Administrator to the Mayor and Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, the adopted fiscal year 2016-17 General Fund budget was balanced and <br />met the ten percent (10%) reserve requirement; and, <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the General Fund unappropriated <br />reserves to accommodate this request but the action would require City Council to appropriate <br />Rinds in excess of the General Fund reserve requirement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve <br />the following: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves General Fund appropriations with the <br />use of General Fund reserves in excess of the General Fund reserve requirement by <br />amending the fiscal year 2016-17 budget to appropriate $9,771.42 in account number 100- <br />6000-6000-1101, Non-PERSable Benefits. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6 1 day of December 2016. <br />RICHARD A.
