R-118-16 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />REGARDING ADOPTION OF FINE INCREASES FOR COMMERCIAL <br />VEHICLE MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATIONS AND TO AMEND THE FY 2016-17 <br />BUDGET TO INCREASE REVENUES. <br />WHEREAS, parking fines for City of Colton Municipal Code violations were lasted <br />updated in R-48-16, and <br />WHEREAS, further increases to commercial vehicle violations are desired to provide <br />additional violation deterrence. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND <br />ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as follows: <br />SECTION 1. CMC 10.04.075 9.3k — No parking within 50' of an intersection (except <br />passenger vehicles) <br />Fine increased from $100 to $200. <br />SECTION 2. CMC 10.04.105 10.9 — No parking within a residential district by truck <br />tractors or trailers <br />Fine increased from $100 to $200. <br />SECTION 3. CMC 10.04.107 12.3(b) — Commercial trucks driving off the truck route <br />Fine increased from $100 to $200. <br />SECTION 4.
