I RESOLUTION NO. R-123-16 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2119, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY 3 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ON THE SIXTH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1960, 4 TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL NO PARKING AREAS. 5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and 6 existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the traffic flow and circulation within the City jurisdiction; and 8 WHEREAS, the City Council, the Police Department and the Public Works 9 Department continue to receive numerous complaints about vehicles parking on Miguel 10 Bustamante Parkway from Riverside Avenue to Agua Mansa Road during all times in the day; and 11 WHEREAS, the City Council, the Police Department and the Public Works Department continue to receive numerous complaints about vehicles parking on Agua Mansa 12 Road from Riverside Avenue to Rancho Avenue during all times in the day; and 13 WHEREAS, such stopping causes sight distance restriction for motorists entering the 14 roadway and are causing traffic congestion. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 16 CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 17 SECTION 1 That Section 23,"No Parking Areas", of Resolution No. 2119 shall be 18 amended as follows: Section 23.65 On both sides of Miguel Bustamante Parkway, from Riverside Avenue to Agua Mansa Road 19 SECTION 2 That Section 23,"No Parking Areas", of Resolution No. 2119 shall be 20 amended as follows: Section 23.66 On both sides of Agua Mansa Road from Riverside 21 Avenue to Rancho Avenue 22 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 20TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2016. 23 24 Ri hard A.
