R-37-15 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />SUSPENDING THE FEE FOR USE OF COLTON ATHLETIC FIELDS BY <br />RESIDENT YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton adopted Resolution R-05-13 on February 5, 2013, adopting <br />a City-wide Master Fee Schedule, and; <br />WHEREAS, this Master Fee Schedule established a fee of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for <br />the use of City athletic fields by resident youth sports organizations, and; <br />WHEREAS, on January 29, 2015, the Colton Recreation & Parks Commission adopted <br />Resolution CRPC-15-01, recommending that the City Council consider suspending the <br />application of this fee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as <br />findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City Council hereby suspends the application of a fee for the use of City <br />athletic fields by resident youth sports organizations. <br />Section 3: This fee suspension shall remain in effect until rescinded by future action of <br />the City Council and any payments made in regard to field usage for the 2014 season will be <br />refunded. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND <br />ATT T: <br />CAROLINA R.
