I <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-87-15 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />4 APPROVING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CONTRACT CSPP- <br />5385 FOR THE PROVISION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE SERVICES IN THE <br />5 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016. <br />6 <br />7 WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Education has approved the State <br />Preschool Contract CSPP-5385 for fiscal year 2015-16; and <br />8 <br />WHEREAS, this contract will provide $437,620 of funding to enable the City of <br />9 Colton to provide preschool childcare services to approximately 114 families; and <br />10 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />11 follows: <br />12 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as <br />13 findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />14 Section 2: City approves the State of California Contract CSPP-5385, for the provision of <br />preschool services in the Early Childhood Education Division of the Community Services <br />15 Department. <br />16 <br />Section 3: The City Manager, as Executed Director of the program, is hereby authorized to <br />17 sign the applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute this agreement. <br />18 <br />19 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21' day of July, 2015. <br />20 <br />21 RICHARD�&ROSA <br />22 Mayor <br />23 <br />24 ATTEST: <br />25 <br />26� " <br />CAROLINA R.
