I RESOLUTION NO. R-107-15 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO AMEND <br />3 THE FISCAL YEAR 2015/2016 BUDGET TO INCREASE REVENUESIN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $290,000 AND TO APPROPRIATE $260,000 FOR STREET SWEEPING <br />4 AND TREE TRIMMING SERVICES. <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to improve the level of service for the street <br />6 sweeping and tree trimming services; and <br />7 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton approved the amended and restated Solid Waste Services <br />8 <br />9 agreement with Republic Services, Incorporated that included funding for Street Sweeping <br />10 Services in the amount of $210,000 and Tree Trimming Services in the amount of $80,000; and, <br />I I WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the 2015-2016 Fiscal Year budget is <br />12 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />13 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />14 <br />15 CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />16 Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />17 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />18 Section 2 The City Council authorizes to amend the FY2015/16 budget to increase <br />19 <br />revenues by $290,000 as follows: <br />20 <br />21 • Increase revenues in Account Number 100-7835-000 by $210,000 for Street <br />22 Sweeping Services; and <br />23 • Increase revenues in Account Number 100-7836-000 by $80,000 for Tree <br />24 <br />Trimming Services. <br />25 <br />26 Section 3 The City Council authorizes to amend the FY2015/16 budget to appropriate $ <br />27 260,000 for Street Sweeping and Tree Trimming Services as follows: <br />28 0 Appropriate $10,000 in Account Number 100-6150-6160-2210-0000-000 <br />
