R-115-15 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2015/2016 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET <br />TO SET UP A NEW MEASURE I ACCOUNT AND APPROPRIATE $514,858 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br />WHEREAS, On June 4, 2015, the City of Colton received and posted a reimbursement <br />check of $514,858 back into the regular Measure I (218) revenue account; and <br />WHEREAS, before the end of the Fiscal Year 2015/2016, the department will amend <br />the Fiscal Year 2015/2016 Measure I Five -Year Capital Improvement Plan and Expenditure <br />strategy plan to include this new Project Expenditure; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved activities, not listed in the 2015-2016 <br />Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recital preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes an appropriation of $514,858 as an adjustment to <br />the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget as follows: <br />• Set up a new Account (FY 2015/2016 Pavement Rehab/ Barton Rd & Rancho Ave) <br />218-1608-6150-3890 and appropriate $514,858 into the account. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20`h of October, 2015. <br />Fr . avarro, Mayor Pro Tempore <br />Attest: <br />Carolina R.
