R-117-15 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,339.55 FROM THE BUREAU OF <br />JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP FY2015 <br />AWARD, AND AMEND THE 2015-2016 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2015 and ending June 30, 2016 was approved and adopted on June 16, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On September 3, 2015 The Bureau of Justice Assistance Bulletproof Vest <br />Partnership FY2015 awarded a grant to the Colton Police Department in the amount of <br />$17,339.55. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this Bureau of Justice Assistance <br />Bulletproof Vest Partnership FY2015 award in the amount of $17,339.55 <br />to the Revenue Account 225-5892-016 <br />Section 2 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3`d day of November, 2015. <br />ATTEST: <br />AROLINA R.
