R-78-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $114,762.70 FOR THE CITYWIDE PAVEMENT <br />AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to use Measure I Funds for the Citywide <br />Pavement and Traffic Signal Maintenance and Repair; and <br />WHEREAS, On June 17, 2014, the City Council adopted Resolution R-50-14 approving <br />the 2013/2014-2017/2018 Measure I Five Year Capital Improvement Program and <br />Expenditure Plan and the Citywide Pavement and Traffic Signal Maintenance and Repair was <br />included in the expenditure plan; <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved activities, not listed in the 2014-2015 <br />Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes an appropriation of $114,762.70. As an <br />adjustment to the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 budget as follows: <br />• Increase CIP expenditure account (Citywide Pavement & Traffic Signal Maintenance) <br />450-1511-6970-3890 in the amount of $114,762.70 <br />• Increase expenditure Measure I account 218-1000-1000-5993-0004-450 in the amount <br />of $114,762.70 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5" DAY OF AUGUST 2014. <br />ATTEST: <br />SABDISANCHEZ <br />Chief Deputy City Clerk <br />FIA <br />
