R-83-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEPT A <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000 FROM THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC <br />SAFETY AND AMEND THE 2013/2014 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2014, and ending June 30, 2015, was approved and adopted on July 15, 2014; and, <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and, <br />WHEREAS, on June 20, 2014, the California Office of Traffic Safety awarded a traffic <br />safety grant in the amount of $100,000 to the City of Colton for the purpose of traffic <br />enforcement and to purchase traffic related equipment; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. The California Office of Traffic Safety Grant was awarded to the <br />Colton Police Department in the amount of $100,000. (Increase expenditure account <br />numbers 225-6070-6072-1050-0000-015, 225-6070-6072-2301-0000-015 and 225- <br />6070-6071-1160-0000-015 in the amounts of $86,600, $8,900 and $4,500 respectively <br />and increase Revenue account number 225-5890-005 by $100,000.) <br />Section 2.
