R-89-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO UPDATE AND REPLACE THE <br />ELECTRIC AND WATER RULES AND RATE <br />SCHEDULES IN THE CITY OF COLTON CUSTOMER <br />SERVICE POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a general law city, duly organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of California and situated in the County of San Bernardino; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has jurisdiction over the <br />implementation of rules and rates for the Electric and Water and Wastewater Utilities as <br />propounded in the Customer Service Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the existing Rules and Rate Schedules in the Customer Service Policy <br />have not been updated in the past ten years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Electric, Water and Wastewater Utilities have reviewed the existing <br />policies and have proposed to update and replace the existing Electric Rule and Rate Schedules <br />and Water Rules and Rate Schedules to reflect the current operating practices and procedures <br />for each utility. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />That the City Council finds that it would be appropriate to adopt the Electric Rules and Rate <br />Schedules and Water Rules and Rate Schedules in the Customer Service Policy as proposed in <br />Exhibit "A" and Exhibit `B" attached and made a part hereof to become effective <br />immediately. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 2014. <br />ARA S.
