R-93-14 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR FISCAL 4 YEARS 2015/2016 THROUGH 2019/2020. 5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing 6 pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); 7 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved the passage of Measure 11990-2010 in 8 November 1989, and renewed as Measure 12010-2040 in November 2004, authorizing San Bernardino 9 10 Associated Governments (SANBAG), acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, II to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and 12 unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino; and 13 WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and traffic 14 management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 89-1 of the San 15 Bernardino County Transportation Authority; and 16 WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the 17 Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five -Year 18 Capital Project Needs Analysis; and 19 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the street 20 infrastructure. 21 22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton, State 23 of California, hereby adopts the Measure I - Five Year Capital Project Needs Analysis for FY2015- 24 2016 through 2019-2020, attached to this resolution. 25 - 26 - 27 28
