1 <br />2 RESOLUTION NO. R-93-14 <br />3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />ADOPTING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR FISCAL <br />4 YEARS 2015/2016 THROUGH 2019/2020. <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />6 pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />7 <br />WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved the passage of Measure 11990-2010 in <br />8 <br />November 1989, and renewed as Measure 12010-2040 in November 2004, authorizing San Bernardino <br />9 <br />10 Associated Governments (SANBAG), acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, <br />II to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and <br />12 unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino; and <br />13 WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and traffic <br />14 management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 89-1 of the San <br />15 Bernardino County Transportation Authority; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the <br />17 Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five -Year <br />18 <br />Capital Project Needs Analysis; and <br />19 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the street <br />20 <br />infrastructure. <br />21 <br />22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton, State <br />23 of California, hereby adopts the Measure I - Five Year Capital Project Needs Analysis for FY2015- <br />24 2016 through 2019-2020, attached to this resolution. <br />25 - <br />26 - <br />27 <br />28 <br />
