R-115-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015 CAPITAL OUTLAY AUTOMOBILE <br />BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $65,000 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />VEHICLES. <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of Colton desires to purchase two <br />vehicles for the City's Water and Wastewater Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to improve the productivity and efficiently of the <br />staff on providing management and inspection of the City's water and wastewater <br />infrastructure projects and new developments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Water and Wastewater Division financed a $3,300,000 loan from Bank <br />of America for the Water Meter Replacement Project, miscellaneous equipment and projects. <br />The funds were placed in the revenue account 521-5699; and <br />WHEREAS, the Funding is intended for the construction, engineering and inspection of <br />the Water Meter Replacement Project and purchase of equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved activities, not listed in the 2014-2015 <br />Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />1 <br />
