R-03-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />INCREASE THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS FEDERAL ASSET SEIZURE <br />ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $110,000 AND AMEND THE <br />2013/2014 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2013 and ending June 30, 2014 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement in an <br />amount not to exceed $90,000 for the purpose of purchasing office furniture or equipment. <br />Section 2. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2013/2014 <br />Budget: <br />• Increase expenditure account number 261-6070-6083-4930 by $90,000. <br />• Increase expenditure account number 261-6070-6083-4950 by $20,000. <br />Section 3. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21" day of January, 2014. <br />A S.
