I RESOLUTION NO. R-41-14 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />3 CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014, FOR <br />4 THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND REQUESTING THAT <br />5 THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES AS <br />REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF <br />6 CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br />7 WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law cities in the <br />8 State of California, a General Municipal Election shall be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, <br />9 <br />for the election of certain Municipal Officers, and; <br />10 <br />11 WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of the election it is necessary for the City to <br />12 request services of the County of San Bernardino, and; <br />13 WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the City <br />14 <br />of Colton. <br />15 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />16 CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS <br />17 FOLLOWS: <br />18 SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California <br />relating to General Law cities within the State, there is called and ordered held in the City of <br />19 Colton, California, on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, a General Municipal Election of the <br />20 qualified electors of the City, to be consolidated with the General Election, for the purpose of <br />voting on and/or electing the following: <br />21 <br />A. District 1 Councilmember for full term of four years <br />22 <br />23 B. District 2 Councilmember for full term of four years <br />C. District 4 Councilmember for full term of four years <br />24 <br />25 D. Mayor, at large, for full term of four years <br />SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used for this election shall be, in form and content, <br />26 such as may be required by law. <br />27 <br />SECTION 3. That the County of San Bernardino Registrar of Voters is authorized, <br />28 instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, notices, printed <br />
