R-42-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,224.00 FROM THE <br />BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, FOR THE 2014 BYRNE MEMORIAL <br />JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) AND AMEND THE 2013/2014 FISCAL <br />BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2013 and ending June 30, 2014 was approved and adopted on June 18, 2013; and, <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On June 3, 2014 the Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant was awarded to <br />the Colton Police Department in the amount of $14,224.00; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. It is necessary to approve and accept this Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance <br />Grant Award in the amount of $14,224 to Expenditure Account 225-6070-6072-2301-000-014 <br />and Revenue account 225-5890-001. <br />Section 2.
