R-44-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR <br />UNEXPENDED GRANT FUNDS FROM CALRECYCLE CITY COUNTY <br />PAYMENT PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,467.54 AND AMEND <br />THE 2013/2014 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2013 and ending June 30, 2014 was approved and adopted on June 18, 2013; and, <br />WHEREAS, The State of California has made available a Beverage Recycling grant to <br />eligible cities and counties specifically for beverage container recycling and litter cleanup <br />activities; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has unexpended grant funds from CalRecycle City <br />County Payment Program in the amount of $23,467.54; and, <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations of unexpended grant funds between <br />departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1.
