R-23-13 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO ACCEPT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,920 FROM THE <br />BOARD OF STATE AND COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS UNDER THE <br />AB109 PRISION REALIGNMENT PROGRAM AND AMEND THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2012/2013 BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2012 and ending June 30, 2013 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, In January 2013 The California Board of State and Community <br />Corrections (BSCC) awarded the Colton Police Department the amount of $75,920; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council herby directs acceptance of the $75,920 from the Board <br />of State and Community Corrections under AB109, to increase Revenue Account 225-5890- <br />007 by $75,920 and increase Expenditure Account 225-6070-7003-2350 by $25,000 for the <br />shared cost of a probation officer. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7`° day of May, 2013. <br />a <br />SAAH S.
