I RESOLUTION NO. R-25-13 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON INCREASING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE 3 ALLOCATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT 4 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 TO ACCOUNT FOR THE RECEIPT OF STATE LIBRARY `°PITCH AN IDEA" GRANT FUNDING 5 6 WHEREAS, the Community Services Department has received "Pitch an Idea" grant funding from the California State Library for the Colton Public Library, in 7 the amount of $25,000, and; 8 WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing 9 July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 has been approved and adopted, and; 10 WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities 11 may be made by the City Manager, and amendments (increases/decreases) to the 12 budget shall be by approval and resolution of the City Council. 13 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 14 COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 15 SECTION 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be 16 true, is adopted as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. 17 SECTION 2: The City Council accepts the $25,000 for "Pitch an Idea" 18 grant funding from the California State Library. 19 SECTION 3: An adjustment to the fiscal year 2012-2013 budget is authorized, to account for receipt of the aforementioned funding. Allocations shall be 20 adjusted as follows. 21 Revenue Account 211-5772 shall be increased by $25,000 22 Expenditure Account 211-6200-7101-4930 shall be increased by $25,000 23 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May,, 2013.^ 24 25 ARA11-8.
