R-55-13 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,006 FROM THE <br />BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, FOR THE 2013 BYRNE <br />MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) AND AMEND THE <br />2012/2013 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br />July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances <br />of the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On June 3, 2013 the Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant was <br />awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $14,006; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. It is necessary to approve and accept this Byrne Memorial Justice <br />Assistance Grant Award in the amount of $14,006 to Expenditure Account 225-6070- <br />6084-4930-0000-013 and Revenue account 225-5890-001. <br />Section 2.
