I RESOLUTION NO. R-57-13 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CONTRACT 3 CSPP-3401 FOR THE PROVISION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE SERVICES 4 IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013-14 AND AMENDING 5 THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013-14 TO REFLECT THE CORRECT GRANT AMOUNT 6 7 WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Education has approved the State Preschool Contract CSPP-3401 for fiscal year 2013-14, and; 8 WHEREAS, this contract will provide $402,045 of funding to enable the City of 9 Colton to provide preschool childcare services to approximately 105 Colton families, and; 10 WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2013-14 has been approved by City Council, 11 and must now be amended to reflect the proper grant amount. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as 13 follows: 14 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. 15 16 Section 2: City Council approves the State of California Contract CSPP-3401, for the provision of preschool childcare services through the Community Services Department. 17 Section 3: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf 18 of the City to execute this agreement. 19 Section 4: The budget for fiscal year 2013-14 is hereby amended as follows: 20 Revenue account 206-5776 is decreased by $15,640 to $402,045 Expenditure account 206-7200-7203-1040 is decreased by $15,640 to $115,650 21 22 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16`h day of July, 2013. 23 / 24 S.
